involvement of association staff and
coaches is minimal on photo day.
A typical event goes like this:
- Action-Image will customize and upload an information webpage for your association. This webpage will provide athletes and parents with information about photo day including dates of scheduled photo shoots, the image capture, production and purchase processes, privacy policies, suggestions for appropriate dress, what to do in the event of rain, etc.).
- Association staff or coaches will be required to ensure that athletes present themselves for photographing in accordance with the predetermined schedule.
- While not imperative, if association staff or coaches provide Action-Image with the names and jersey number of athletes to be photographed in advance of photo day, product customization options will be enhanced (for example, player trading cards, mouse pads and similar products will have customized names and numbers on them). Associations can provide this information to us in any data format (Spreadsheet, word processor tables, databases, etc.).
- Artwork templates can be customized to include the sports association’s logos and colour themes. These will then appear on all photo and photo-gifting products.
- If Action-Image is contracted to provide photography services for an entire association, athletes will receive a complimentary customized 4x6 photograph on which their name, jersey number and team logo is present. Coaches will also receive a complimentary team photo.
- Parents wishing to purchase additional photographs can do so with the order form that is produced on site within minutes of the athlete's photo being taken. This order form is customized to the sport, age, sex, league, team and language of the player.
- There is no need for parents to purchase restrictive “Packages.” All products can be purchased in quantities specified by the parent.
- Pricing is competitive.
- Photo excellence is guaranteed. Use of professional photographers, full digital capture, and professional imagery and artwork ensure that only high quality photographs and photo-related products are produced.
- All standard photo products will be available for purchase onsite within minutes of the athlete being photographed. Once an order is placed, photographs and photo-related products (e.g., personalized coffee mugs) will be shipped to the purchaser within five business days. Coaching staff do not have to get involved in product distribution.

How will your products and services help to promote team spirit and increase familiarity amongst players? Action-Image specializes in producing customized trading photographs. Professional artwork templates can include the association or team’s name, logo and colours, along with the athlete’s name and jersey number. By trading (and autographing) these photographs with other team members, athletes will increase their familiarity with one another, and feel a great sense of pride in being part of the team. These photographs are also a great keepsake for parents and grandparents alike!
Can Action-Image customize artwork templates to include a sports association and/or team’s logo? Absolutely. Artwork templates can be customized for all of Action-Image’s photographs and photo-related products. We design the theme with you based on your corporate identity manual and it is applied consistently across all products.
Is Action-Image able to produce products such as trading cards, magnets, key chains, novelty tickets, calendars, magazine covers, and individual and team photographs? Yes. Action-Image can produce each of these products. Samples of individual/team photographs and photo-related products appear below. All will have a consistent color theme and will be customized for the athlete's sport.
What types of packages does Action-Image offer? Action-Image does not offer its products in restrictive packages. All products can be purchased in quantities desired by the parent.
What is Action-Image’s turnaround time? Once an order is placed, photographs and photo-gifting products will be shipped to the purchaser within five business days.
What if parents are not satisfied with their child’s photograph? Our system distinguishes itself from other companies because parents can see right away what the final product looks like. An order form like the one below is printed within a minute of the child's photo being taken. They see themselves already mocked-up on the player trading cards, the mouse pads and the coffee mugs and whatever other products your sport association wishes to offer. There are no surprises when the final product arrives.
We ensure that high-quality, professional photographs are taken at image capture. Necessary colour adjustments are made immediately following photograph. If not fully satisfied with the preview images on the paper order form or our website, purchase is not required. If parents are not happy with their child’s photograph, they can contact us and we will attempt to re-photograph their child at another scheduled photo shoot.
How do parents go about purchasing photographs if sports associations and/or coaches are not required to collect payment? Within minutes of taking an athlete's photograph, they will receive a print-out of their image(s) and a limited of photo and photo-gifting products available for purchase. This print-out will reference our web address and include a unique “Action Code” that parents can use to log onto our site. The paper print-out can also be used as an order form if parents do not have internet access and/or a credit card. Parents can purchase onsite using this paper order form and pay by cash, cheque or credit card.
Note: If Action-Image is contracted to provide photography services for an entire association, athletes will receive a customized 4x6 photograph on which their name, jersey number and association logo is present. Coaches will also receive a complimentary team photo.
What if parents do not have an internet connection and/or a credit card to view and purchase photographs and photo-related products? Those that do not have an internet connection and/or credit card can purchase photographs and photo-gifting products by completing the order form on the back of the print-out provided at the time of photographing. Payment can be made with cash, money order or cheque.
Will anyone provided with an “Action Code” be able to view photographs of our athletes online? Absolutely not! Action-Image protects the security of all images in its possession. Once photographed, each athlete will receive a print-out of his/her image(s) and a sample of photographs and photo-related products available for purchase. This print-out will reference our web address and include a unique user ID and password that parents can use to log onto our site. Only they will have access to the images taken of their child (and his/her customized photographs and photo-gifting products).
Would Action-Image be willing to photograph athletes at tournaments and/or other sporting events? Action-Image’s photography studio is fully mobile. Schedule permitting, we would be happy to provide service at tournaments and other sporting events.
